Editorial policy

Clear sources.
Real limits. Current facts.

The standards used for Consult Engine product pages, guides, comparisons, and customer evidence.

1

Scope and audience

We publish for U.S. cosmetic and general dental practices evaluating patient-acquisition software. Content explains product selection, implementation, measurement, privacy questions, and operational tradeoffs. It is not medical or legal advice.

2

Authorship and review

Every article has a public byline and genuine modification date. An organizational byline is used when work is produced across product and engineering. We do not invent a person, clinical credential, founder biography, or expert review.

3

Sources

Primary and official sources are preferred for regulation, platform behavior, analytics, and vendor claims. Comparisons link to vendor-owned sources and tell readers what should be reconfirmed. Product facts are checked against the current application.

4

Commercial transparency

Consult Engine content may describe and link to Consult Engine products. We separate product facts from general guidance, disclose limitations and integration requirements, and do not manufacture a best-tools ranking that always selects Consult Engine.

5

Customer evidence

A customer result requires publication approval, a stated measurement window, baseline, methodology, sample size where applicable, outcome definition, and limitations. We do not buy reviews or publish patient-identifying information.

6

Updates and corrections

Material corrections are made in the content record and advance the modification date. Pages are reviewed when product behavior changes and during scheduled commercial and comparison reviews. Readers may report an issue through the contact page.
